Wildlife Gallery
You search endlessly, you research your subject, you look, you fail, you try again and again, you practice so when it happens you are ready. You watch and listen then it happens, you see it and you begin to frame it in the viewfinder. It may be an owl or an eagle or Bison, maybe a bear, it could even be a wolf. Regardless you still yourself and capture a fraction of their life so you can share their beauty with others.

"See Ya" - Wyoming - Yellowstone Wolf Pack (the following wolves are part of the Wapiti Pack) April 2022. Side note, when I was photographing this pack I was by my vehicle, on the road about 50 yards away. My wife was spotting for me inside the vehicle, calling out how may wolves were coming into view. As I was looking through my viewfinder and photographing the individual wolves as she directed, I suddenly hear her say this..."Stan there is a wolf right beside you!" When it finally registered that she said "right beside you" I turn to my right and walking toward me, on the road, five feet away is this wolf! He stops, I stop, I move back behind the rear of the truck, he looks at me and just walks on by and heads out to his buddies. Then he stops about 40 yards away, turns and looks back at me, I take this photo and he moves on with the pack.
